Video: Carter - "Disgrace to the USA"

In Great Britain, Fmr President Carter claims US is giving terrorist 'Excuses' and that Gauntanamo Bay is a "disgrace" to the USA. I think bashing America on foreign soil is a "disgrace" to the USA.

Carter: "I think what's going on in Guantanamo Bay and other places is a disgrace to the U.S.A. I wouldn't say it's the cause of terrorism, but it has given impetus and excuses to potential terrorists."

As to whether or not Carter’s comments provide rhetorical cover for the terrorists—of course not! Carter is simply voicing his dissent, and if a former US president can’t openly criticize his government—publicly, overseas, during wartime, and on the basis of a narrative of events that an investigative panel has already concluded simply does not represent the facts on the ground—well, then the terrorists have already won.

we should be proud of the way we are treating those sub human rats, just becouse they have oposable thumbs and no tail does not mean they are human, in fact i think that is justifiable to smear crap on the coran becouse it is a blasphemy to our values and our god.... we should be proud that our brave soldiers are doing what they are doing despite the fact that we know that it will only create more enemies but I guess they can se it as job security, helping the terrorist recruit more terrorist. their job is perpetuating itself for eternity. god bless war loving america, after all god loves war, is all over the bible...

I used to give Carter the benefit of the doubt when he would make irresponsible comments....age/senility/symptoms of Alzheimers...but turns out that he is just a bitter, angry, revisionist who would prostitute his 4 years as POTUS to grovel to the World's dictators and terrorists to denigrate the U.S. When he was POTUS my mother used to comment on what a nice man he seemed to be with that "smile" and seemingly "Christian" lifestyle. Although just a teen, something always bothered me about him....Maybe it was the long gas lines that I had to wait in, but behind that "smile" I had the feeling that not all was right with him....what an ass.
