The following are excerpts from a speech by Iranian President-Elect Mahmoud Ahmadi-Nejad, which aired on Iranian Channel 1 on July 25, 2005. ( Transcript ) Ahmadi-Nejad: We want art that is on the offensive. Art on the offensive exalts and defends the noble principles, and attacks principles that are corrupt, vulgar, ungodly, and inhuman. Art reaches perfection when it portrays the best life and best death. After all, art tells you how to live. That is the essence of art. Is there art that is more beautiful, more divine, and more eternal than the art of martyrdom? A nation with martyrdom knows no captivity. Those who wish to undermine this principle undermine the foundations of our independence and national security. They undermine the foundation of our eternity. The message of the (Islamic) Revolution is global, and is not restricted to a specific place or time. It is a human message, and it will move forward. Have no doubt... Allah willing, Islam will conquer what? It will conquer all the mountain tops of the world. And we're suppose to just let him have a nuclear bomb? The same man who the US just concluded was a leader of the movement behind the 1979 hostage crisis at the US embassy in Tehran is preaching the virtues of martyrdom. This is Radical Islam. This is what we are fighting. This is evil. Update: Why don't we hear this story in the MSM? Why has the MSM not reported "Fmr Iranian President calls for Ganji's release"? Does the MSM even know about Ganji? At least Kofi Annan admits his "ignorance" of Ganji.

Tell them you are tired of seeing and reading what they consider newsworthy e.g. Wacko Jacko, Scott Peterson, and the Rove Affair. In the course of human events these are nothing compared to the stories like the Iranian journalist near death in an Iranian prison trying to garner the world's attention to the struggle of the Iranian people for freedom.

The LL and MSM are "rooting" for the enemy and would have us lose this war because of their apparent vendetta against this administration. The effect of their actions only emboldens and empowers the enemy to kill more innocents and our brave men and women who go into harm's way on our behalf to protect and defend what we hold most dear - FREEDOM!

Well folks if we lose this war I would be damn sure they better keep a tight grip on their heads because these actions would not be tolerated in these Islamofascist theocracies.

What we are, what we believe, stand for and hold dear - the free will of men and women is the very antithesis of this ideology. Its mission is to destroy our culture and impose Islamic law.
